Supported Charities

To help our international community George and Julie Mackenzie have set up the charity PAW Madagascar. With constant support from the clinic, PAW Madagascar is helping lemurs in Madagascar survive by desexing and vaccinating feral cats and dogs who eat the lemurs. A visit is being finalised at the moment to go to the National Park Beza Mahafaly (Bey-za Mah-far-lay). However donations are needed to help continue this project. To make a donation you can visit www.pawmadagascar.org and make a donation through PayPal or at Vaucluse Vet Clinic.

The remarkable island of Bali….filled with scenic rice fields, rivers, ancient temples and palaces; surrounded by beautiful beaches and renowned for fine arts, dance and music.

In contrast to this beauty…..mangy and starving dogs roam freely on the beaches, the streets, in the markets, around restaurants and in tourist areas. Many of these dogs suffer from preventable parasitic and infectious diseases and major trauma from roadside accidents. Without any welfare organisations to treat and care for them these animals suffer enormously. Donations are avaliable at www.balistreetdogs.org.au
